Let’s play a game. Listen ang act. Big or small, fat or thin?(学生根据老师的指令做动作)
Talk about the animals .(panda monkey elephant)
T: Do you like the anlmals?

T: I like the animals ,too. Let’s go to the zoo,okay? (出示动物园幻灯片)What can you see at the zoo? What colour is it ? Is it big/ small/ fat/ thin?

教师出示多媒体图片教学单词
T: What else can you see at the zoo? Today, let’s learn some new words about animals.（出示老虎图片）What’s this? It’s a tiger. 领读单词，板书。学生齐读，单个读至较熟练。
Talk about the tiger.(谈论老虎)Is this a tiger? Is it big? Is it fat?Look at the tiger’s tail.It’s long. Look at its ears. Its ears are short.(通过谈论老虎的尾巴和耳朵引出生词long short)板书并领读生词，通过描述动物特征，把生词带入句型练习。
同法教单词wolf bear和snake。教学时注意元音及字母组合的发音，注意复数的变化，让学生从各个角度对单词有全面认知。运用所学过的句子What’s this? Is this a ___? Is it fat/thin/big/small? What colour is it? Its ____ is(are)_____.引导学生对知识的全面掌握。在练读单词过程中评价。
