四、教学重点:
通过看故事、读故事等方式,让学生了解故事,初步感知本单元的核心语言。使学生在相对真实、完整的语境中接触、体验、理解语言;
教学难点:
能够在图片和情景的帮助下,引导学生去讲故事;引导学生观察故事中主人翁和所处的环境。
五、教学步骤:

Let's sing:“What can you do?”
(设计意图:既活跃了气氛又揭示了本课主题,为接下来的故事教学作好了铺垫。)

1、Catch the plane: Review some words and sentences.
2、A game: answer the questions.
Step Ⅲ Pre-reading task(Preview)
1、A riddle: It’s a rat.
2、Introduce:Today we have a friend. Look! He is a rat.
StepⅣ While-reading task
1、教师出示田鼠和蛇的图片,One day, the rat is picking up flowers near a lake. But suddenly(突然), here comes a hungry snake. What will happen when the rat meets the snake?
2、Watch the whole story and answer: What happens at last? 教师追问:Can the snake eat the rat?鼓励学生快速读故事并找出答案:No, the rat can swim away.
3、Read and answer
(1)、教师利用PPT呈现图1、2,请学生回答:Does the snake want to eat the rat?
(2)、教师利用PPT呈现图3、4,请学生回答:Can the rat sing ? Can the rat dance ?
(3)、教师利用PPT呈现图5、6,请学生回答:Can the rat swim ? What is the rat like ? What about the snake? The rat is clever. The snake is silly.
4、Read again,读完后判断:
