Write down “four, six, seven, nine” on the blackboard. Then add a tail “-teen” to these numbers with color chalk. Lead to learn the numbers 11--20.

Step 2 Presentation

The teacher writes down the rest numbers “eleven” “twelve” “thirteen” “fifteen” “eighteen” and “twenty” on the blackboard. Ask students to observe the numbers on the blackboard, find out the rules, and try to master numerals 11--20.

Listen to 2a and read after it, pay attention to the word stress. Then read together and finish 2a.

Learn 1a.

Use the learnt sentence patterns to practice 1a between the teacher and students. Emphasize how to write “class” and “grade” in the right from. For example, “Class One , Grade Seven.”

T: What’s your name?

S: My name is ...

T: How old are you?

S: I am ...

T: What grade are you in ?

S: I’m in Grade ...

T: Are you in Class ...

S: Yes, I am.

Step 3 Consolidation

Read 1a and help Jane complete here name card. Finish 1b.

Ask and answer between the teacher and students.

Step 4 Practice

Listen to 2b and match.

Listen to 3 and complete the conversations. Then practice with partner.

Step 5 Homework

Recite 1a in this Section.
