Step 1.Analysis of the student.
Last lesson , we learned that Danny had big plans for his weekend, and he prepared to learn new things-cooking, and we knew Danny always loved donuts . Now, in this lesson, we will go on talking about the weekend activities, and we must learn to talk about our weekend activities.
Step 2. Lead in.
Play a guessing game，give students some pictures whose parts are covered ,and ask them to guess “What is he going to do this weekend?”,Then guess “What is Zhao Hanyu going to do this weekend?”.If one has the right answer, the teacher can give him/her a prize to encourage.
Step 3. New lesson.
No. 1 New words:
Teach students new words by pictures,actions,syllables. Bookstore,bookworm,weekend,anything,supermarket,all of these words are made up of two small words. Can you find more words like these? Make a list.Then review the new words,and make sure the students can read it correctly.
No. 2 Listening:
Listen and tick the correct statements. What is Zhao Hanyu going to do this weekend?
