四、学情分析:

七年级的学生年龄小,生性活泼好动,本班学生英语基础普遍较弱,没有学优生带动,上课氛围还是不够好,畏于张口。针对学生现状,在课堂上尽量以鼓励表扬为主,注重培养学习英语的兴趣,营造学英语的氛围,鼓励学生开口说英语, 特别是给差生创造机会, 让他们尝试成功的喜悦。

Step 1 Greeting

Step 2 Warming Up

Review: What is Jenny going to do this weekend?

Lead in: What are you going to this weekend?

Step 3 New words and phrases

New words: Give students some pictures about the new words, then they learn to pronounce these words by tape.

New phrases: By previewing, check it in class. Let one student help match the phrase with its Chinese meaning. Then all the students read them together.

Step 4.Listening

1. Listen to the tape once and ask the students just to listen.

2. Listen to the tape again and ask the students to complete Exercise 1 in Let’s Do It..

3. Check the answers as a class.

Step 5 Reading

Read the text by themselves and underline the words they can’t read and the sentences they don’t understand.

After ding, answer the questions in Exercise 2 in Let’s Do It. (Each student to win the red apple for their group by answering question)

Check the answers together.

Step 6 Group Work

Group leader choice one task card.

Students discuss their task in groups and then write their answers on the blackboard.
