Lead the students to analyse the construction of the first paragraph by presenting the question “Has Anna become healthier?” Guide the students to find out the “result” of Anna’s healthy way of life and then the “actions”, and finally the “reasons”. After this, encourage the students to analyse the rest paragraphs in this way by underlining the sentences.
4. Raise the question, “Have actions brought the four people all good results?” After this, ask them to try to give Richard some advice to improve his way of healthy life.
