Step1. Lead-in watching & asking questions

Ask questions about what do they think of Michael Jackson
Ask them what an open question is?
Set some sample questions
Step2. Reading
Read the passage on the paper about Michael Jackson.
Try to answer the four questions on the paper.
Step3. Check answers
Present students’ answers by reading them in class.
Step4. Thinking & discussing& creating
Discuss with your desk mates about the fourth question-----the open question. Think about the answer and organize your language.
Step5. Analyze the answers to the open question
Ask two students to present their answers in class, analyze them, and figure out the structure of a good answer.
