Step1: Preparing

◆Activity: Enjoy a song Beautiful life and appreciate an English poem, then ask students several questions about life.

◆Activity: share a picture about a life tree and introduce the topic.

Step2: Progressing

◆Activity: Dialogue one(between fish and water)

◆Task: Comprehend the passage by answers the questions, and then retell the passage by a summary.

●Email two

◆Activity: Dialogue two(between fish and water)

◆Task: Comprehend the passage by analysing the details(T or F), and then imitate the sentence pattern:“Life is like…..However, ……”

●Email three

◆Activity: Dialogue three(between fish and water)

◆Task: Comprehend Zhoulin’s attitude from the letter, and then learn from Amy’s experience.

Step3: Practising

◆Activity:

①further understanding of looking good and feeling good, and then discuss how to be physically healthy and mentally healthy.

②develop a correct attitude towards beauty by comparing two pieces of news.

◆Task: raise students’ awareness of the ways to be physically and mentally healthy,and then reach the conclusion that virtue is true beauty.

Step4: Producing

◆Activity: write a paragraph about 50 words according the given structure.

◆Task: try to use typical sentence patterns to express

Step5: Presenting

◆Activity: present students’ works according to each group,and then give assessment.
