Procedures:
1. Word review
Ask students to read the words of this section, and point out some mistakes in pronunciation if necessary. Then read aloud after the teacher.
2. Lead-in
Show a poster of the movie Avengers: Endgame and have students think about how many of our senses we use while watching a movie, whether they have thought about experiencing things in a movie with our senses of touch and smell before, and how to achieve this?
Ask students to read the text in order to learn more about the way of connecting our senses with the scenes in a movie.
3. Presentation & practice
(1) Get students to skim and scan the business presentation and find answers to the three questions in Part A.
① What is the name of the product?
② How many of the user's senses does this product connnect with?
③ What are the advantages of using RealCine for urban planning?
(2) Have Students read the text in detail and complete Part C1 on Page 44 and then check the answers orally.
① What technology is behind this product?
Virtual reality.
② What do users wear so they feel that they are really in a new world? Special VR headsets and gloves.
③ What did the teenager experience in RealCine?
