StepⅠ. Lead in—Bike-sharing in Dingyuan共享单车在定远

1.Ask students two questions:

(1.Do you use a bicycle? When?

(2.What are the advantages of bicycles over cars?

(save energy, reduce pollution, provide free public transport, less traffic in city centers)

Show some pictures and talk about the disadvantages of cars and the advantages of bicycles as well as the information about Netherlands with the students.

2. Introduce the cycling team in our hometown, “Shunfeng Cycling ”----定远顺风骑行.

StepⅡ. Reading

First,talk about China : 900,000,000 bikes, “The Kingdom of Bicycles” (自行车王国)

Ask students if they know which city is called “City of Bicycles”
