T:Have you ever been frustrated? What did you done to cheer yourself up?
Ss: When I feel unhappy, I often listening to music. Because music can make me feel peaceful and happy.
T: Yes, it’s a very good way. Does anyone has other method?
Ss: I turn to running whenever I am depressed. Running can make me feel better.
T: Great! And is there any other ways?
Ss: Usually I will watch movies, especial comedies when I am in low spirits. And I like reading jokes too.
T: Perfect! Comedies and jokes are good ways to brighten our life. The humor in them lead us to be content with our situation.
This class, we will learn something about English humour and a famous humourist-- Charlie Chaplin. Now, Let’s have a taste of English humour!
