二、Teaching importance and difficulties

(一)Teaching Importance:

1.Review the words and expressions about weather ;

2.Can talk about what your friends or family doing in English;

(二)Teaching difficulties:

1. Talk about the weather and what your friend or family are doing;

2. Undestand and remember the important phrases and expressions.

三、Teaching Procedure

Step 1 Greeting and warming up.

1. Greeting the students and talk about the weather today.

2. Show some pictures and ask:What can you think of when you see the signs? Help the students to remember as many words about weather as possible.

3.Play a game.Let the students try to guess the weather by using the sentences.How is the weather?/What is the weather like ? It is sunny /rainy/…

Step2 2a

Show the pictures in 2a to the students and guide the students to ask:

--- How’s the weather in picture a?

--- It is sunny.

----What is the girl doing ?

---She is drinking juice.

2. Ask the students to work in pairs to talk about the other two pictures ,then ask some pairs to show their conversations .After that ,read the conversations together .
