2、能用本课所学知识讨论节日、活动和民间故事等。

3、进一步提高学生对英语的学习热情,增强学习兴趣,培养学生积极主动地参与课堂活动、学习习惯,增强学生的爱国主义情感。

五、教学重难点:

用所学的语言对节日进行口头描述和写作。

六、教案流程:

(一)、Warm-up

Ask students to act a short play about the Spring

Festival. Then lead to the Chinese traditional festival——the Spring Festival.

(二)、Presentation and practice

1、Divide the students into six groups, then ask them to draw lots for their own group, then discuss with the group members about the activities people often do on that day or during the festival days.

2、Present the PPT, then ask the students who chose the festival on the PPT to tell some activities about the festival, next stick the lot they drew on the blackboard and write the activities, at the same time ,anybody can add some more. And they can also get a score for their group.

3、During the poem guessing, students read the poems aloud and say the meanings of them.

4、Ask each group to complete a composition together, then read it aloud.

5、Stick the score card on the blackboard , give the winner six red envelops as lucky money.

6、Homework

Write some sentences about Chinese traditional festivals

(At least 6 sentences)

1、本课本着激发学生学习英语的兴趣,培养学生自主学习以及团队合作的能力,使学生初步形成该话题的会话和写作能力,但忽视了学生的创新思维能力的培养。

2、教学过程中根据学生的心理和生理特征,采用小话剧与教学相结合的方法,激发了学生的探究兴趣,让学生在教师的指导下通过感知、体验、实践、参与和合作等方式实现目标。

3、本节课的设计初衷是为了让学生在了解中国传统节日的同时,激起他们的爱国主义情愫。
