Step1: Lead in and Exploration

watch a short video about phubbers

show them the writing task of this class

ask them to examine the topic carefully

Step2:Situation developing

Divide the whole students into several groups

skim the title and ask them to discuss the main parts of writing this composition.

Get the students to write a simple outline

Help the students to describe the three pictures one by one.

Step3:Interaction between the students and the teacher

divide them into four groups and ask them to express their own opinions of being phubbers

The teacher write down some useful linking words while discussing

3.let the students know the advantages and disadvantages of smart phones.

Step4: While writing

Give students 15minutes to write the body and the ending of this composition

Call students’ attention to some writing suggestions

Step5:Assessing effective

Read and enjoy the compositions and correct it by themselves
