T: Maybe it is difficult or boring. Today we’ll learn a way to remember the words.

Step2.(in order to introduce animal names.)

T: Do you like animals?

Ss: Yes

T: What animals do you like?

S1: I like koalas

T: Why do you like them?

S1: Because I think they’re very cute.

Then T asks s2:

T: What animals don‘t you like?

S2: I don’t like tigers.

T: Why don‘t you like them?

S2: Because I think they‘re kind of scary.

Step3.(合作探究) now,every group write down at least 15 words about animals. If you finish it ,please hands up. The fastest group not only can show yours. But also everyone can get a little gift. Of course, other groups add.

Step4(展示反馈) The fastest group is No.1 next No.2 No.3 ........

Everyone in the fastest group shows their words in different ways.(小组每人说2到3个,有的同学读;有的同学学动物叫声;有的同学做一个动作,例如表演大猩猩;有的同学用描述性的话语,例如 it has long neck .其同学猜 it is a giraffe ),这一组成员展示完后其它组的同学自己站起来补充,给出更多。

Step5(加强巩固)

T:I also collect some pictures of animals. T shows some interesting pictures on screen .then ss give names.

Step6 play a game

T准备了一些动物头饰,每组选一人走到教室前面并带上动物头饰,同时介绍自己 I’m a rabbit ...然后六位同学彼此看看各自是什么动物头饰,老师指定其中一人说口令,其它人做动作。(like this :dog蹲,dog蹲,dog蹲完,rabbit蹲 )中途可以换人说,其它人做动作;中途也可以更换帽子,中途也可以换另一组人做游戏。

Step7 另一类词汇,lead in

First show a picture of a girl .then ask ss do you know some names of body parts? Now each group writes down at least 10 body parts on a card. If your group finishes it ,please hands up.The fastest group is no.1 .your group can show yours.and other groups add.

Step8.小组合作

Each group write down at least 10 words about body parts.then everyone gives one or two

Step8.展示成果

Ss show some results.同学们展示身体部位名词时,可用不同方式展示。(有的可一边指着鼻子,一边说nose;也可以说英语,再说汉语。如:eye ,眼睛;也可以用一句话描述 This is my hair/I have black hair来给出hair这个词)

Step9强化巩固

T shows a picture of body,然后斜线指着某一部位,让学生给出相应的单词,如果出现学生没有提到的,可教给学生并让学生当时记。

Step10.play a game again

Game rules:All the ss stand up. If I say“ sam says”, you can do. But If ii don’t say “sam says”, you can’t do .If you are right ,please sit down .If you are wrong ,please go on( 此环节是让差生继续加强这些身体部位的名词)
