Teaching procedures:

Step 1: lead in

T: what’s your favorite food?

How do they taste?﹨ How does it taste?

Step 2: presentation

Present the new word by showing the pictures。

Before listening

Let students read the six sentences together and help them to understand the words customer and by mistake.

Brainstorms: get the students to guess what they will hear about.( a story about the history of potato chips)

While listening

Play the recording first and catch the main idea .

Listen again and finish 1c.

Check the answers.

Listen for the third time and finish 1d.

Get several student to share their answers with the class and then check the answers.

Listen again and answer the questions on the screen.

After listening

Let the students to finish an exercise after listening.

Read after the tape. Pay more attention to their intonation and pronunciation.
