  The pictures about food; some real food; PPT

四、教学过程

Step1 Revision

Greet the ss as usual. Sing a song《Down by the station》

  Let ss review the history of tea and ask ss to make sentences with the passive voice of the past tense.

Step 2. Warming up

1. Let Ss watch an interesting picture.

2. Ask some questions about them.

 1. What did they eat?

  S1: Ice cream.

 2. What did the big dog think of the ice-cream?

  S2: Sweet, cool, and delicious!

Well let’s look at some other delicious food, please.

Step 3. Talking

Work on 1a

1. Show ss some delicious snacks and fruit. Ask ss if they want to have a try ? And ask them to describe how they tasted ? Then write the new words and phrases “crispy, salty, sweet, bitter, hot, sour, by mistake, customer, in the end,come up with” on the blackboard.

2. Play a game with them. Ask ss to speak out the taste when the teacher raise one kind of food.

3. Tell Ss that the words in the box describe how food can taste. Write them under the correct pictures. Some pictures have more than one word.

2. Ss work with their partners and try to write some proper words under the pictures.
