Step2 Presentation

Use PPT to present a picture on the screen such as playing rope-skipping games and ask Ss:Do you remember playing rope-skipping games?Then show another picture with playing chess and say:I have learned to play chess. Have you learned it? Show other pictures to help Ss to recall.Ask Ss the way as above

Show Ss pictures to teach new words survey ,keyboard ,standard ,row, in a row etc.

Each student makes a sentence about the things they remember doing or they have learned and report to the class in a chain.

Step3Consolidation

1a,First let Ss check the things they remember doing at Junior High ,then add moreto the list.Let several Ss share their sentances with the whole class.

Step4Listening

1b. Tell Ss that Mary,Frank,Sarah and Peter are talking about the things they remember doing at Junior High.Listen and match the memory with the person.Check the answers.Then play it again for Ss to answer the 2 questions: Who found Mary’s schoolbag? Why was Peter scared(害怕) of Mr. Brown?Check the answers.

Step5Practice

1.1c.Ss list some memories and experiences from junior high school. Share their lists with their partners.

2 Then Ss ask and answer in pairs:

What do you remember doing?

I remember…

What have you ever learned/ done?

I have …

Ask some pairs to act it out.

3. Group work . Ss work in groups of 3 or 4 to practice like this:

A: Junior high school is over . Do you remember doing anything?

B:Yeah. I remember having a picnic with my friends.

C: I have hanged out with my friends.

D:I remember…….

Choose one student from each group to report like this:
