Step 2 : Lead in
(1) T:I have some gifts for you .If you win, you will get it. Do you want to have a look? You can say “May I have a look?”I will say “Sure.”
(2) Students will sing the Rainbow Song .Then look at my picture of rainbow and answer my question “What color is it ?”
Step 3 : Presentation
(1) Finish the part 3 in page 23 -Listen and color .
(2) Listen to the radio and answer the question “What color is the robot ?” Answer-It’s red .
Listen to the radio again and read after it .
Step 4 : Practice
(1) Play the game “What’s missing?”
Students will look at the screen and find what color is missing?
(2) Look at the pictures and make the dialogue .
S1: What color is it?
S2: It’s red .What color is it?
……
(3) Play the game “Touch the color”.
Students will listen to the instructions and touch the right color around them .
(4) Look at the blackboard and stick the color cards on it.
(5) Finish the second question on the paper.
(6) Make situational conversations based on the given pictures.
(7) The winner will get some gifts .Others who want to see will say “May I have a look?”
Step 5 : Summary and homework
(1) Students share what they have learnt this lesson with others. Then we sum up together.
(2) Make the dialogue with partners.
(3) Make some letter cards with favorite colors.
