Teaching procedure:
Step1: Warming up & leading in(5 mins)
Greet the students.
Show a box with a robot in it to make students guess what it is. After students answering, lead in today’s topic.
Step2: Presentation
Teach the words:show a picture of a rabbit wiping the sweat, and then present the word. Teach the pronouciation and Chinese meaning. Teach the following words in the same way, such as “cold,windy,snow,rain, sunny”.
“match ”game: match the words with pictures then read.
Teach the target language: play a video of an introduction of the Great Wall, then present the target language. Teach the pronouciation and Chinese meaning.
“match”game: match the cities with the weather,then change the order.
Step3:Consolidation & practice.
Students work in pairs to do the role-play.
Choose some pairs to act it out.
Step4: Summary & homework.
Summay: “Let’s chant”. Hot, hot it will be hot...
Homework:Teaching parents what you have learned.
