Learn about signs before earthquakes and some knowledge about how to escape from an earthquake and how to offer help to people during an earthquake.(了解地震预兆常识以及地震中自救和救他的知识)

2. 语言技能

能运用所学知识来描述地震前兆,危害及震后救援;能整合信息,提高学生的交际能力。

拓展学生的知识体系,培养学生分析和解决问题的能力,指导学生对一些思考性的问题提出自己的见解和看法,养成用英语进行思维和表达的良好习惯。

3. 学习策略

4. 情感目标

a.学习唐山人民勇敢面对自然灾害,乐观积极进行灾后自救重建的精神,引导学生明白:地震无情人有情。

b.在教学中让学生积极主动参与各个教学活动,激发他们对英语学习的积极性,从而获得学习英语的信心。

c.通过体验、讨论、合作和探究等学习方式,培养学生的合作互助精神,提高学生用英语来分析问题和解决问题的能力。
