1. Greetings.

2. Ask the students what is the first English song they’ve heard?

Step 2. Presentation and practice

1. The teacher plays the video of “ABC song”.

Pay attention to the pronunciations of each letter.

2. Ask some of them to sing the song.

3. Show the cards of apple, ant. Say “It's an apple. It's an ant”. Ask the Ss to find out the same letter” A”.

1). Ask the Ss read the two words (ant ,apple )again then tell me the pronunciation of A, when the words beginning with letter A.They learn to read it.

2) Distinguish the big letter A from the small letter a. Then ask Ss to find out the strokes.

3). Present to write the letter in the grids. Ss watch and learn to write on paper.

4.Learn the letter B

1). Show the cards of book, bag. Say “It’s a book. It's a bag.” Ask Ss to find out the same letter” B”.

2). Ask the Ss read the two words (ant ,apple )again.then tell me the pronunciation of b, when the words beginning with letter b.They learn to read it.

3). Distinguish the big letter B from the small letter b. Then ask Ss to find out the strokes.

4) Present to write the letter in the grids.

The Ss watch and learn to write the letters on paper.
