A. Warming up

猜谜游戏,导入故事

教师描述故事中的动物患者的外貌特征,学生猜测是什么动物

It has long ears. It has a short tail. It can jump. (rabbit)

It is big and strong. It has large ears. It has long teeth and a long nose. (elephant)

It is very tall. It has a long neck and small ears. (giraffe)

引导学生学习词汇:giraffe,neck.

B.播放本部分动画,学生观看动画,理解故事大意。

C. 学生独立阅读故事。

领读并引导学生理解句子: Giraffe points at his long neck How do you feel now?

师生进行问答,操练句型What’s wrong with …? T: What’s wrong with Monkey? Ss: His arm hurts.
