1. T teaches students the meaning and how to read the three words: temperature, centigrade and Fahrenheit.
2. Ss read culture time after VCD.
3. 请学生用中文分享课前搜索的资料。
Ss describe the pictures.

Step 3. Cartoon time
1. 出图片Who is in the hospital?
Look at the picture: Who are they?

Guess: What are they saying?
2. Watch the cartoon and tell what’s wrong with them?
After watching the cartoon, Ss answer what’s wrong with these four animals.
3. Self study.
Ss read cartoon time by themselves and find the difficulties.
Ss learn the difficulties in groups of four.
If there is still some difficulties, Ss learn them in class. The able students will help.
If there is still something the students can’t understand, T helps.
4. Read cartoon time with VCD in a hole.
(Imitate the pronunciation and the intonation.)
