T: Look at the picture. The boy is Charlie.

What is Charlie doing? (eat chicken for his lunch/sit on a bench)

b. Ss read the words together.

T ask Ss what’s the sound of “ch”.

c. Ss read the words and short passage after the music.

d. Ss read the short passage in rhyme in groups. T ask one group to read the short passage.
