（二）文本分析
The Lake of Heaven是一节读和说结合的课，展现火山喷发后带来的自然景观之美。文章篇幅较简短且内容结构较清晰，主要介绍了介绍长白山及其最著名的旅游景点天池----地理位置、自然环境和景观、有关天池的传说等，但文章要点比较分散且有一些句子较长较难，学生可能会难以理解，因此需要对要点进行更好的归纳和引导学生自主地获得更多的相关信息。
（三）学情分析
上课班级高二（12）是面向普通高中的文科班，英语基础比较薄弱，如词汇量不够，阅读速度较慢等，但学习态度好，能够在老师的带动和引导下积极参与到各项教学活动中，但自主学习能力较差，因此在英语表达方面不够自信。
（四）教学目标
At the end of class, Ss are able to:
①get the structure of an introduction to a place: location, features, special places and what to do or see.
②get the basic knowledge of Changbaishan and Tianchi: location, features, special places and what to do or see
③accumulate some lexical chunks that describe the location, special features and “what to see or do” in the text.

掌握地方介绍时常包括的四个方面location, features, special places and what to do or see及了解长白山及天池这两个地方此方面的相关信息。
（六）教学难点
找出长白山及天池这两个地方的相关信息（如location, features, special places and what to do or see）的句子及其英语表达的相关词组及句式。
