课前播放歌曲“Gogo”。

设计意图:心理学家指出,学生的学习动机和求知欲能否自然而然地涌现,很大程度上取决于教师所创设的教学情境。该英语歌曲的播放,既可以营造宽松的学习氛围,又可以吸引学生的注意力。

2. T:Today,I’m going to be your new English teacher. You can call me Miss Bi. I like listening to music. Do you like music?

Ss:Yes,we do.

T:All right,let’s sing a song together. And while you’re enjoying the song,please pay attention to:What are they going to do? Now,let’s start!(PPT 播放音乐)

T:Do you like this song?

Ss:Yes,we do.

T:Well,I want to know if you have a good memory.(PPT 展示出歌曲中的人物,见图 1)

T:OK,the first one is:What is Jeeby going to do?

Ss:She is going to sing.

T:How about Tappy? Is he going to sing?

Ss:No,he isn’t. He is going to dance.(同问 Pod和 Gogo)

T:Well done! Boys and girls,you’re so clever! And you know they are going to do so many things,maybe they are going to have a party.(出示课题,领读)

设计意图:通过演唱歌曲,共同进入欢快的童话世界。让学生带着疑问,有目的地去听,可以唤起对旧知“ What are you going to do?”的记忆。同时引入话题 a party,为下文的阅读教学做好铺垫。
