重点：1.Learn to talk about directions by using “in,on and to”.

教学过程导入Lead to the new lesson by using a picture of Tian’an men Square.

Then we talk about the buildings, National Museum, Tian’an men Rostrum, Great Hall of the People, Monument to the People’s Heroes and Chairman Mao Memorial Hall.

讲授Step 1 Learn and master the new words.(north,east,west and wait)

Step 2 Listen to the tape carefully,and number the pictures ,then check the answers.

Step 3 Listen again and write down the time when people built these

buildings . Then check the answers.

Step 4 Match the names with the buildings on the map. And fill in the blanks with the correct direction words in 3a . Finish 3a and 3b.

Step 5 Listen to 1a and under the information about Tian’an men Square . Then complete the table with key words. Then fill in the blanks .Then check the answers.
