(2)Important Sentences:

a)It covers 440,000 square meters. It can hold one million people.

b) I can’t wait to see it.

c) The square must be meaningful to all Chinese people.

2. Difficult points:

(1) The differences and usage among position preposition“in”,“on”and“to”.

(2)Be able to read the names of famous buildings in Tian’anmen Square correctly.

V. Learning strategies

(1)Learn some new words by word formation, such as northwest, northeast, southeast, chairman, meaningful, and so on.

(2)Use association learning to understand and use new knowledge.

(2)In listening, reading and oral English tasks, learn to find out keywords, and then use them to complete the tasks.
