三、学时难点:

学生能在真实情境中正确理和运用We are going to …by…, We are going to visit…there.等句型制定和交流旅游计划。

四、教学过程

Step 1 Warm-up and Lead- in

1) Free talk

T: Look at the map of China, children. What do you think about China?

Ss1: China is a big country. It’s very beautiful.

Ss2: There are many famous places in China. I want to travel all my favourite places.

T: Good. Look! There are six groups in our class today.(Beijing Group, Hangzhou Group, Xi’an Group, Shanghai Group , Sanya group and Wuhan Group) Let’s chant together, ok?

【设计意图】通过师生间自然的交流,激活学生的思维,快速进入旅游情境。借助韵律诗复习travel这个单词及we are going to 句型及交通工具,突出本课主题,为新课学习做好铺垫。

Step 2 Presentation

1)创设情景学习四会单词及韵律诗。

T: Today we’ll meet a new friend.He also likes to travel. He’s from England. Guess, who is he? Yes, you are right. He’s Harry Potter. 将哈利波特头像贴到黑板。T:Listen, What does he say? 点击课件让学生听哈利波特说的话I want to travel around China. 请学生重复,然后T: Can you spell travel?自然拼读tra-vel并板书。He is going to China. Why? Listen. 让学生继续听音并重复哈利波特说的句子I want to know something about China. T: Can you spell know?自然拼读kn-ow并板书。出示课件T:Look at this clever boy’s ear.引导学生读ear再自然拼读hear。课件I (listen/hear)there are many interesting places in China. 引导学生选择填空说句子使学生理解运用hear并板书hear。T: Listen. 电脑中的哈利波特说I want to travel with you. Can you tell me something about the big cities of China? 学生高兴的回答道Yes。

【设计意图】创设哈利波特想来中国旅行的情境,激发学生的学习兴趣。通过人机对话引出四会单词,运用自然拼读法帮助学生记忆单词,培养学生记忆单词的策略。

T: Wonderful. Look , where are we going? 出示北京,we are going to Beijing. Beijing Group, can you introduce Beijing? 请北京组的学生谈论北京信息。Look,Harry Potter is driving a car to Beijing to see his friend. Who is he? Ss: Dred. Let’s have a chant about Dred.让学生齐读并找出dr 字母组合的发音,读这些词并问Can you say some other words?让学生举例,教师出示读一读,然后视频跟读,让各小组以不同形式操练展示。

【设计意图】出示哈利波特的朋友Dred,通过听音的方式让学生们初步感知字母组合dr的发音,找出这一韵律诗中含有字母dr并且发音为/dr/的单词,结合学生已学的词汇引导学生进行归纳总结,并让学生在小组内采用不同的形式巩固这一韵律诗,培养学生的语音意识。

T: Sanya is a beautiful place. Sanya group, can you introduce? 请三亚组介绍三亚情况。

【设计意图】鼓励学生用课上所学内容和课下所查资料说说自己对北京,三亚的了解,激活学生相关的知识储备,为本课即将要去的地方做铺垫。

2)Hangzhou

T: Hangzhou is a beautiful city. Are you going to Hangzhou? 板书We are going to Hangzhou. Is it far from Tianjin? How are you going there? Ss:by train, by plane 板书,让学生读句子。T: Where are you going to visit in Hangzhou? 看图引导学生说句子We are going to visit the West Lake. 两人一组练习说We are going to by . We’re going to visit there.

【设计意图】利用多媒体课件将学生带入杭州,引出本课的重点句型,通过操练使学生理解句型结构。

3)Shanghai

出示学生一个谜语,让孩子们读一读猜是哪?This is a big city. It’s also in the east of China. China’s Disneyland is over there. Where is it? Shanghai. 课件出Shanghai/ShangHai

T: Which one is right? 此处提醒学生注意地名的英文大小写问题,板书Shanghai. Show the students two buildings: the World Expro and Shanghai Bund 教学生认读,请Shanghai Group 同学介绍。出示句型We are going to by .We are going to visit . 两人一组替换练习展示。

【设计意图】通过猜谜让学生感受上海这座城市,再借助两个景点——上海世博园和上海外滩,让学生感受上海是一座现代大都市。为学生操练句型提供素材,同时拓展了词汇量和知识面。选择正确的英文地名,培养学生的问题意识和思维能力。

4)Wuhan

出示哈利波特想吃热干面,由武汉美食引出武汉,板书Wuhan T:Where is Wuhan? 课件出示武汉的位置引导学生说出It’s in the south of China. It’s far. T: What do you think about Wuhan? Wuhan Group, can you introduce?请武汉组介绍。T: What famous place is in Wuhan? 出示课件Yellow Crane Tower. 让生读,板书。出示句型We are going to by .We are going to visit . 两人一组替换练习展示。

5)Xi’an

课件出示大雁塔, T:Is it Yellow Crane Tower? What famous place is it? 出示Dayan Pagoda请学生读一读。T: Xi’an Group, can you introduce Xi’an? 请西安组介绍。出示大雁塔简介,请一名同学给大家读一读,了解大雁塔的来历。出示句型We are going to by .We are going to visit . 两人一组替换练习展示。课件出示哈利波特说的音频There are so many famous places in China. I am sure I will like it. Thank you, my friends. Goodbye.

【设计意图】介绍大雁塔的来历,增长知识开拓视野。通过两人操练和小组操练的形式巩固We are going to…by… We are going to visit…的功能句型。将哈利波特情境贯穿始终,进一步激发学生的兴趣,深入理解重点句型。
