一、创设情境,切入主题

Step 1 Lead-in

Lead in by discussing the following questions:

What’s your favourite subject? Why do you like it best?

二、展开过程,探究新知

Step1 New words

Help the students find the new words and prouounce how to read them correctly.

Step 2 Listening

Listen to the tape of Paragraph 1 and 2 to answer the following questions:

How long has Brian been in Canada?

Are Brain and Jenny in the same class?

What did they talk about in class today?

Finish the task in class in oral.

Step 3 Activities
