Step 2. Lead in.(引入)

1.Greet the students in English and make sure they can response correctly.

Come to “Think About It”!

What do you do with your pocket money?The T explains “pocket money”with a picture.Then Ss Brainstorm,the T asks the Ss to answer the question with the sentence” I can buy... ... with my pocket money”.

Imagine that you are in an American supermarket, what can you say in English when you want to buy something? That’s what we are going to learn,how to buy and how to sell.

Step 3. New lesson.(新课)

No. 1 Fast reading 。(快速阅读)

Read the text quickly,and find what is Brain going to sell,and what is Danny going to sell?

The T explains the words “desk-cycle”, and shows some other interesting inventions, the T tries to say it in English and make sure the Ss can understand,the T speaks in Chinese when necessary.

No. 2 Scanning.(略读)

Task one: True or False questions

The T give the Ss three minutes to finish the questions. Find out the original

sentences ,if it is false, correct it.

Find out the strategies Danny uses in this lesson.(two minutes to go)

Task two: Danny uses some strategies to push his product, including function of the product, try out the product and attractive price.( three minutes to go)

No.3 Pair work.(两人一组练习)

The T summarizes the expressions and sentences used in buying and selling, present them on the screen. The Ss make up a context , one is a buyer and one is a seller. Three minutes to go. The T asks three groups to act out the dialogues and check the answers with the whole class.

Step 3.Summary. (总结)

Sum up the text what we learned,the different kinds of reading skills.

Step 4. Homework.Finish the activity book and the write down the strategies you may use for your product.

Step 5.Blackboard-writing:(板书)
