● 认识并理解商务英语与日常英语之间既有差别,又互相影响。

● 能够迁移运用理解商务俗语的方法去理解更多的英语俗语和谚语,增强对英语语言和文化的兴趣,了解并尊重中英文化的差异。

教学重点:

培养学生的阅读策略;通过合作、讨论、比较等方式和主题拓展,引导学生运用所学语言和思维方法进行拓展学习。

教学难点:

调动学生迁移运用理解商务俗语的方法去理解更多的英语俗语和谚语。教学过程教学

环节教师活动学生活动设计目的Lead-in 1.Play a short video between a shopkeeper and a customer and ask the students what they are doing.

2.Shows the title and explain the word “Business”.1.Watch the video and find out they are “buying and selling”.

2. Follow the explanation of “business”.To arouse Ss interests and lead in the topic today.New words1.Introduce the new words in the text and get the students to read them after the audio clip.

2.Give pictures and sentences about the new words.1. Read the new words and try to remember them as much as possible.

2. Complete some sentences with the new words according to the picturesTo understands and memorize the new words and enhance the reading process.Pre-readingShow three sayings and get the students to guess their meaning.Work out the meanings of the sayings:

1.Time is money.

2.Never say never.

3.First think, then act.To motivate them for the reading.While-

1.Present the six business sayings and ask the students to guess their meanings.

2.Ask the students to work in two groups and read for the meanings of the sayings in the text.1. Guess what the sayings mean.
