Based on the above theory, this lesson will stimulate students’ interest and desire to use the new ways of writing to express their thoughts.

3. Analysis of teaching material

The main target in this lesson is to help students use making comparisons and giving examples to make their statements clearer. However, the contents in the textbook are too scattered and lack a theme that can inspire the students. Thus I decide to create a situation for students to write and use what they’ve learnt in this unit.

4. Analysis of students

Junior Two students bear curiosity to explore the unknown knowledge and take interest in expressing their ideas in English. They have certain abilities to think about questions and solve problems in English. They are willing to work with others.

a. To master: comparative of adjectives.

b. Be able to express their own ideas using the language newly learned, making comparisons and giving examples; improve their writing and speaking skills.

a. Guide students to discuss the bad effects of playing computer games.

b. String all the teaching tasks with one theme—help the experts to write a speech.

a. Learn the great spirits of playing computer games healthily.
