内容分析1.Module6主要是讲述有关动物的内容，Unit2 The tiger lives in Asia. 介绍了5种动物，拓展了学生在物种与地理方面的知识。通过描述这五种动物的居住环境与喜好，让同学们了解更多关于动物的知识，同时，通过本单元的学习，进一步激发学生对动物的爱心，增强学生保护动物的意识。
2.本课涉及的语法点主要为一般现在时单数第三人称肯定句、否定句、一般疑问句及其回答。
教学重点
1.To master the key vocabulary as: a little, only, about, people, large, usually, be good at, strong, catch.
2．To master the key structure as: There are…./ The elephant lives in …/ It eats ….
教学难点
1．To indentify information about animals in the reading material.
2．To understand short passages on animals，and can write a short passage to describe an animal.
3．To use capital letters correctly.
学情分析
本节课面向的是七年级学生，大多数孩子都喜欢动物，这节课更容易吸引学生。而且，学生已掌握了本课相关的地理知识。因此，学生对图文并茂、集知识性、趣味性、生活化于一体的教学资源非常感兴趣。
