Teaching importance:

1. master and consolidate the words and phrases about making plans, describing the future, shopping, asking and giving directions, lost and found and describing abilities.

Step 1 Lead-in

Ask students which holiday is coming this weekend.

Elicit anwers to the question: How to make plans? (According to the following six aspects: what/where/why/when/who/how )

Purpose: The question helps to check what students already know about the topic. It also makes students think about the topic schematically. This is the first attempt to critical thinking.

Step 2 Presentation

Present some pictures of holiday activities and ask students to say some phrases about them.

Ask students to think of prepsitions before different time.

Draw students attention to different ways to describe transportation.

Invite one student to do a model dialogue about holiday plans.
