Step 1 Warming-up
Review the new words and phrases.
Step 2 Label the picture with the words from the box in Activity 1.
Step 3 Listen and read
1. Listen to the passage by watching a short video. Ask students to understand the passage and answer the questions in Activity 2.
2. Ask students to read the passage on their own and discuss the questions in Activity 3.
3. Ask students to read the passage together and do Activity 4.

e.g. I lived on the east coast of China.
2. There be … 有……
be 动词用单数is还是复数are, 根据就近原则来决定。
e.g. There is a man and two boys over there.
There are two boys and a man over there.
3. There was a big living room with a TV, a kitchen, a bathroom and three bedrooms.
with的用法, 表示带有。
e.g. Behind the house, there was a big garden with lots of trees and there was a small lake with fish in it.
4. one day 有一天 (常与将来时连用)
e.g. I will fly to Beijing one day.
