本单元的话题贴近生活,主要内容是谈论个人感受和印象。对于好朋友的感受和印象也是学生乐于描述的内容。但是,如何用恰当的结构和语言来描述一个人,对于学生仍有难度。所以本节课会通过教师引导,学生讨论,例文展示的方式使学生再次对写作有新的体会和思考。本节课的重点是通过引导学生了解写作前的注意事项,教会学生如何审题和构思。难点是如何运用恰当和丰富的语言完成写作。

四、学习目标分析

(一)通过题为“my best friend”的作文写作,掌握审题方向。

(二)了解如何增加细节信息,充实文章。

(三)学会尝试运用多样的句型,丰富文章。

(四)再次感悟友谊的重要。

五、教学过程

Pre-writing

活动1 Lead in

The teacher talks about the feelings friends can give us and lead students to think about their friends.

活动2 Analyze the composition

The teacher shows students the composition requirement and analyze it together.

活动3 Make sure of the content

Appearance and hobbies

Students look through Sally’s letter quickly to find useful content-Pra2 and 3.

Find sentences describing Sally’s appearance and hobbies.

Students discuss what useful structures can be used to describe hobbies.

Students talk about words describing the character.
