二、教学设计

(一)教学目标:

1. 知识与技能目标

能听说读写能听说读单词:formal, manner, napkin, lap, fork, dish, quietly, dine, elbow, spoon, chopstick, finger; 能理解和使用table manners,eat up,drink to 等关于餐桌礼仪的用语。

2.过程与方法目标

能够理解和表述餐桌礼仪的课文阅读;并能提高升华为相关内容的新写作练习。

3.情感与价值目标

对西方餐桌礼仪文化的了解,提高跨文化意识,做个有见识之人,同时尊重文化差异,提高自身行为习惯。

(二)教学设计:

Start : Leading in: (引课)Warming up

T: Hi, boys and girls. It’s my first time to meet you. I’m very happy to study with you and so many teachers attending our class. So today’s class is just a free talk class. Ok? If you like talking with me, I’ll invite you to have lunch with me. Where do we have lunch .Look, On my way to school, I got an Ad. It’s Dicos. So many delicious western food .Do you like western food ?(展示一些西餐食物图片) So do you want to go to a formal western dinner party like this?(展示正式西餐宴会图片) So do you know what we should do in a formal western dinner party? 【设计意图】放完视频后,问关于西方餐桌上我们需要了解哪些,师友讨论,教师根据回答板书本节课思维导图的雏形.在读前活动中,初步设定思维导图,能调动学生的兴趣,讨论激发他们的发散性思维,使学生大脑激活。

猜词达意

【设计意图】此环节考虑到英语阅读题考试设有此类题型。为培养学生的推测生词词义的能力,让他们学会善于思考。同时话题未动,单词先行,是一种违背课本编委会的陋习,也剥夺了每个单词以生动画面留给学生“第一印象”的机会。 在语境中学习单词,如联系上下句或根据图片等等,部分同学应能大致猜出词义,上下文的抽象语境起一定作用。单词第一次出现的环境,能帮助学生形成强烈的画面感。
