猜一猜。
举起双手做出各种表示数字的手势，让学生看后，教师立即把手放在身后，让学生说出来，教师举起一根手指头。
T：How many?
S：One.
教师在四线三格中板书：one，并让学生数空，教师伸出两个手指头。
T: How many?
S: Two.
用同样方法数到five后，教师让学生重新记忆一下，复习一下。
多少猴子？
点击课件，出现动物园的画面，里面有六只猴子，T：How many monkeys? 然后师生一起数“One, two, three, four, five, six. There are six monkeys.”用四线三格书：six,并让学生数空。再点击画面出现鸭子，T：How many ducks？师生一起数“One, two, three, four, five, six, seven. There are seven ducks.”在四线三格中书写seven，让学生数空，训练几遍后，继续点击画面，出现鱼，T：How many fish？师生一起数鱼One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight. There are eight fish.”在四线三格中书写eight,学生数空。点击课件，出现鸟的画面学习数字nine,利用熊猫的画面学习ten,注意强调名词的复数。
数一数。
再次出示动物园画面，里面有各种动物：
T：How many birds？
S：One, two, three, four, five, six. There are six birds.
教师就动物数量多问几个，学生熟练后，教师让学生自己问答：
S1：How many monkeys?
