1) Key points: Ss will be able to listen, say and read the pronunciation of the vowels “ee” and “ea” in the following words: “feet”, “meet”, “beef”, “tea”, “read” and “eat”. Ss will be able to use the rules of spelling to spell and read these words.
2) Difficult points: Ss can understand the pronunciation rules of “ee” and “ea” and can use the rules to spell other words.
Ⅴ.Preparation: smart notebook, papers.
Ⅵ.Teaching procedure:
Step 1 Warming- up.
Sing the song “A is for apple”.
T divides Ss into two teams. Team 1 VS Team 2
T:From the song, B sounds like /b/.What about “d”, “f”, ”m”, ”r” and “t”?(见图1)
