Step 1. Lead-in
First, let's enjoy a short video.
- What are they doing? - They are giving a fashion show.
Step2. Presentation
We know this summer holiday is coming. Our school will hold a fashion show to hope that you will have a pleasant and meaningful holiday.
- Do you want to enjoy a students' fashion show? -Yes.
Let's learn something about it.
Ask students to look at some pictures, then learn some new words about clothing.

Step3. Presentation
The Class1, Grade 7 students are holding a fashion show. Look at the two pictures:
Can you tell me what they are wearing? Open your books and turn to Page 93, finish Part A.
Check answers together.
We can say: The boy is wearing a green shirt, a black tie, a pair of blue trousers and a pair of black shoes.
Ask a student to describe the girl.
Step4. Presentation
Listen and choose.
Ask students to practise the dialogue in groups: Group 1 and Group 2, you are Millie, Group 3 and Group 4 you are Mum, then exchange.
Talk about clothes in pairs: Ask students to use some useful expressions to make their own dialogues, then ask some pairs to act out their dialogues.
A: What do you like to wear for the show?
B: I want to wear...
A: That's nice!
B: Thank you! What about you?
A: I want to wear... but I don't have one/them.
