教学过程

Step 1:Warm-up

1.日常口语问候。

2.教师播放Unit 1歌曲“My small cat”,学生跟着哼唱。

3.师生交流,复习旧知。

T: How old are you? How tall are you?

板书:LiZhang1213145cm150cmT:Who is taller? Who is older? Who is stronger?

S:Zhang is (older) than Li. Li is (younger) than Zhang. Zhang is (taller) than Li. Li is (shorter) than Zhang. Zhang is (stronger) than Li.

(指名学生把单词贴到黑板相应的位置。)

4.学生表演之前准备的对话。

S1:How tall are you?

S2:I’m … metres.

S1:You are taller / shorter than me.

S1:How old is he?

S2:He’s … years old.He’s older / younger than me.

Step 2:Presentation1.吹气球比赛。

(1)请两名学生上台吹气球,教师发指令“Make it bigger.”,这两名同学一边吹气球,其他同学随他们吹的节奏加油:Bigger!Bigger!Bigger!看谁在指定的时间内吹得大,谁就获胜。(板书:bigger)教师引导:Can you make it smaller?

(2)学生然后拿着吹大的气球,慢慢地放出空气,其他同学喊“Smaller!Smaller!Smaller!”(板书:smaller)

2.教师拿出卷尺,一边拉长一边说:Longer!Longer!Longer!慢慢放松卷尺,说:Shorter!Shorter!Shorter!(板书:longer和shorter)

3.说句子。

(1)This apple is bigger than that one. That apple is smaller than this one.This orange is bigger than that one. That orange is smaller than this one. (分别出示苹果和橙子的图片)

(2)Lily’s hair is longer than Lucy’s. Lucy’s hair is shorter than Lily’s. (出示两个女孩图像)

4.学习heavier和thinner。

(1)教师指名一学生到黑板前,和老师做比较,能用哪些词说出相貌特征?(tall,short,fat,thin,old,young,heavy,thin…)板书:thinner和heavier
