Teaching procedures:
Step1 Greetings and warming up
T: Hi. Boys and girls how are you today?
Ss: I’m fine. Thank you. And you?
T: I’m very happy. Because I know it’s somebody’s birthday. Is it your birthday? And whose birthday is it today? Oh, it’s your birthday(教师走向一位学生).Little girl, please stand up. Let’s stand in a circle and sing“happy birthday”to her.
Ss: Happy birthday to you....
Step2 Presentation
音乐停止后,教师突然播放小鸟的叫声,惊讶地问:What’s that? 学生回答:It’s a bird. 教师接着问:Where is the bird? Look, the bird is coming. 出示小鸟的图片并带读It’s a bird. 出示单词卡片,让学生说句子It’s a bird. 然后问学生:What happened to the bird? 播放视频动画,学生看完后回答:The bird is hurt. 出示句子卡片,学生操练后将句子张贴在黑板上。
T: The bird is hurt. Do you know who sees the bird? 先出示图片girl, 让学生读,然后出示单词卡片,学生拼读,最后出示句子:The girl sees the bird. 学生操练后将句子张贴在黑板上。
T: The girl sees the bird. But who helps the bird? 老师戴个护士帽,手拿单词卡片,说:Now I’m a nurse. 然后把护士帽戴在学生头上,引导学生说:I’m a nurse.最后展示句子 The nurse helps the bird. 学生操练后将句子张贴在黑板上。
T: Oh, I’m a little hungry now. Look, what’s this? 老师端出一碟汉堡包,说“Hamburger is yummy.” 并尝了一口,然后端到学生面前,让学生说“Hamburger is yummy.”并给学生尝一口。We like the hamburger. The bird likes the hamburger, too. So the bird eats the hamburger.学生操练后将句子张贴在黑板上。
T: Do you like stories? Now let me tell you a story. (老师手指板书的句子讲故事。) The bird is hurt. The girl sees the bird. So she takes it to a nurse. The nurse helps the bird. And the bird eats the hamburger. Then the bird can fly again. So much for the story. Can you repeat?
Ss: The bird is hurt. The girl sees the bird....
