1.Warming up /Revision
Greeting the students and dividing the students into 6groups.
Let’s guess,点名让学生回答。
You can read books in it. What is it? ( Library )
There are teachers in it. They often
work there. And you often hank in (上交)
your homework there. What is it? ( Teacher’s office )
You often sing songs in it. (Music room )
You often draws pictures in it. ( Art room )
【设计意图】教师通过将学生分成六组,激发同学们的竞争意识。在猜谜语环节,教师让学生们举手回答,回答正确者小组加分,激发学生学习兴趣,同时又可以复习四年级学过的与学校相关的名词。
2.Presentation
教师在课件中展示一张学校的图片,并提问道: What’s this? Whose school? What’s the school like? 由此引发学生思考。
教师出示一张塑胶操场的照片(学习grass)。
T:What’s this?
S:playground
教师圈出图中小草的部分,并同样问同学们,引导学生说出grass一词。教师先教读,学生跟读,分小组朗读,点名读,最后运用grass造句。
Eg: What can you do on the grass?
I can play football on the grass.
猜谜语学习Gym
You can play basketball in it.
Sometimes you have a P.E class in it.
Guess. What is it? ( gym )
教师说出一个例句:There was no gym two years ago. 并强调两年前为过去时间,所以be动词要变成相应的过去式。并补充表示过去的时间词:
Yesterday last weekend last night
the day before yesterday last year 去年 last month 上个月
