Teaching procedures:

Step1. Lead-in

1.Have a free talk: What outdoor activity do you like best?

Teacher: Hello, boys and girls. The weather is so cool, isn’t it? I think it is the best time to go out. Do you think so? OK, do you know these outdoor activities? what outdoor activity do you like best?

Students:……

(设计意图:复习本单元已学的相关内容,激活背景知识,从学生自由地表达出他们最爱的outdoor activity ,创设本课学习语境a day out)

2.Look at the picture.

Teacher: This is the picture drawed by my daughter ,what are we doing ?we’re having picnic, we’re so excited 。 (同时在黑板上写excited 并要求学生演绎出来。)

Students:……

Teacher: As you know we will have a day out ,My daughter asked me ,what can we do?

What we can’t do ? what should we take ?

Students:……(老师在黑板上写mobile phone,并取出实物)

(设计意图:教师向学生求助如何回答自己女儿的提问?通过创设真实的语境,在solve problem 中,为下面的学习做了很好的铺垫,以达到“以说促听”)

Step2.Listen and fill the blanks .

(设计意图:给定任务,要求学生听出feeiling ,what can do,what can’t do等整体感知整个对话的同时,关注关键信息)

Step3.Read after the tape and act out .(强调语音和语调)

(设计意图:农村孩子要解决听的问题,首先要会说,而且要说的好,听力教学和语音教学相辅相成,Speak up部分提到这里解决,给学生更多的参与时间和空间,达到畅所欲言。)

Step4.Make up a new dialogue.

Teacher: Outdoor activities are good for us, but sometimes it’s dangerous. We must be careful and don’t do dangerous things. And the nature give us beauty ,what should we do ?Protecting the environment .

(设计意图:学生能根据自己的经验,对语言进行加工,合理的输出,也就是能够交流,教师要尽量给学生创设真实的任务。教师最后的关于安全和保护环境的提醒,给学生除了语言之外的思考)
