Step 7:Group Discussion

You are going to show the exchange students from the UK around Suzhou. Work in groups of 4 or 5 to make a travel plan to introduce some tourism spots(旅游景点) to them! You can look for the information on “Travel China Guide”! Try to make a report.

(Show students the typical tourism spots in Suzhou, enabling them to finish the paper given to them before class. )

(3) write down Suzhou in your mind.教后记:本节课是reading教学的第一课时,其目的就是让学生初步理解课文的大意和结构,帮助学生获得介绍家乡的相关知识。于是我设计了这节课,通过多媒体教学活动,以生动的形式导入,引导学生熟悉课文,了解文章的结构并能运用所学来介绍自己的家乡。整个流程突出教学重点和难点,激发学生学习热情,虽然说这节课内容脱离学生生活,且生词较多,但是通过运用现代化设备,图文并茂,讲练结合,收到了很好地效果。不过经过反思,还是有几点值得改进之处,比如:后面扩展的苏州的生词较多,给学生很大打击;最后讨论太匆忙,没能发挥其真正作用等。这些问题今后要注意,备课要更充分,以期望带给学生更好地课堂教学。
