The text consists of four Internet posts. Anna, Peter, Simon and Julie wrote to Aunt Linda for some advice, because they all had some worries. Anna was worried about her friend while Simon was not happy with his appearance. Peter failed to make the right choice and Julie had to share a room with her sister. These posts are organized nearly in the same structure. In this case, the reading material is suitable for students to imitate its structure.

Analysis of the students

Most students in Class 6 are passive learners. They are not good at logical or critical thinking although text analysis is practiced every day. Even those who do well in analyzing texts will have trouble expressing themselves clearly. However, they are keen observers and willing to contribute to classroom activities.
