Step2 Presentation

1. Show the pictures in PartA on P57 one by one and guess the names of the animals. Learn the new words.

2. Quiz about wild animals

1) Which animal is the king in the forest? (Tiger)

2) Which animal is the cleverest animal in the sea? (Dolphin)

3) Which animal lives in Australia and carries a pocket? (Kangaroo)

4) Which animal is large, strong and heavy with thick fur? (Bear)

5) Which animal is small and lovely, but has a very big tail? (Squirrel)

6) Which animal looks very cute and lives only in China?

3. Show the pictures of animals and read the new words.

4. Write the correct names under the pictures on P57.

5. Learn more about wild animals

1) What does it look like? What can it do ? What does it eat? Where does it live?(dolphins, squireel, giant panda, bear)

2. Give some information about the animals, and then guess the names of the animals.( zebra, tiger)

Step3 Listening

1.Play the tape and let the students repeat what they hear.

2. Listen and answer:

3. Read after the tape and then act it out.
