作业布置：作业分为书面作业，口头作业和自选作业三项。书面作业其中一项是学生查阅百科全书或利用网络，查找自己感兴趣的名人生平，并制作出时间轴（上课能力），然后将查找资料写一篇至少60词的短文 。此项作业能对学生本课学习内容起到检测应用的作用。口头作业是请学生跟读录音至少三遍，因为语音的输出和学生的模仿是学生练习发音的基本。为了鼓励一些学有余力的学生，我布置了自选作业，学生通过此项作业的完成既可得到额外积分，又可以促使学生们进行课后拓展阅读。
评价机制：每个小组长都制作了记分卡，卡的正面是本组加分，每回答一个问题全组都可以得分；卡的背面是扣分，为了养成学生互相倾听的习惯，每两组进行互相监督，只要看到我的手势，（即在同学发言时，其他同学在讲话）该组将会被扣分。
